Are you looking for a leadership position in your volunteer work? Enjoy working and talking with people?
You may be perfect for the Arthritis Foundation, Rocky Mountain Chapter's NEW volunteer position of Health Fair Coordinator! In this position, you will be coordinating the 60+ health fairs we are invited to be a part of each year as well as schedule the volunteers to represent the Arthritis Foundation at these fairs.
This would entail responding to requests to be a part of the health fair, confirming logistical information, ensuring volunteers have appropriate information and materials and providing any necessary follow up. Currently the time commitment for this position is approximately 3 to 5 hours per week but will increase to 15 to 20 hours per week in the Spring when 9 Health Fairs begin.
This volunteer opportunity is based in our Rocky Mountain Chapter office but some can be done from home.
Skills
- Organized: Volunteers must be organized to ensure that all logistics, schedules, materials and volunteers are ready.
- Time Management: Must be able to respond quickly to inquiries by health fair organizers and volunteers; and be able to effectively communicate with staff, volunteers and other outside parties.
