LifeMoves provides shelter and services for homeless families and individuals on the Peninsula. LifeMoves' single adult shelter, Maple Street, is in need of groups from the local community willing to provide and serve a meal (Saturday or Sunday breakfast or dinner). This is a great hands on way to help feed the hungry right in your community and provide a meaningful and critical service for people in need on the Peninsula.

The meals must be prepared before you arrive at the shelter as Maple St. does not have kitchen facilities. The dinner can be a simple as a pizza party, a potluck a couple pans of pasta for our single adults. In good weather, there is the option to host a BBQ for the shelter. The need for this service is great as LifeMoves is looking for providers for every Saturday and Sunday 52 weeks per year. There are 95 men & women in both residing at this shelter facility. A group providing the meal needs to provide the dinner for all residents. The group members are encouraged and welcome to bring enough so that they may have dinner with the residents too.
