It is that time of the year! We are looking for volunteers for our 2010 Delray Beach Film Festival. This coming Festival dates are Monday, March 22 - Sunday, March 28, 2010. We promise wonderful independent films, fabulous events, interesting workshops,a children's day, fun parties and nice people! If you are interested in volunteering for this years Delray Beach Film Festival, please contact me as soon as possible. Volunteer Coordinator needs computer skills -Hospitality suite - needs people skills Volunteers are an integral part of the Delray Beach Film Festival. We value that our volunteers each bring their own unique talents as well as a passion for film. Mission Statement
Volunteers and interns are needed to assist in all areas of the DBFF such as staffing theatre entrances, sorting and mailing films, and ticket sales. Volunteering for the 2011 Festival is about helping artists share their stories.
Interns Needed Immediately
We are looking for several hard working, motivated people to help with the 2011 DBFF. Internship will start January 2, 2011 and will continue through the end of April 2011. (Internships do not need to be used for college credit, but can if desired.) Email resume and availability ASAP to info@dbff.us to be considered.

Description
The Downtown Boca Film Festival is a non-profit 501 (c-3) organization dedicated to providing the local community and international visitors with a diverse presentation of films from around the world, including a venue of student shorts and Xtreme sports. In addition to offering films that might not otherwise be released theatrically in the USA, the DBFF provides a unique cultural experience as well as educational programs and forums for exploring the future of cinema. Founding sponsors for the DBFF are committed to providing independent film makers / artist with a venue to screen their films and to network with other filmmakers and industry insiders.
The DBFF is truly an independent film festival, small enough to allow for an intimate environment in which to mix and mingle, yet big enough to attract large local audiences, which has stayed close to its roots and mission of making available original and independent films not ordinarily seen in mainstream movie theaters.
