What is the Holiday Stocking Project?
Our Holiday Stocking Project was designed to offer volunteers an opportunity to share in the spirit of the holiday season by creating a personalized stocking filled with gifts for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, homebound seniors or families living with HIV/AIDS, so that they may have a holiday filled with joy. We will be providing over 600 stockings this year to our consumers.

How to get involved?
All you need to do to participate in this project is to send an e-mail confirmation including your name, address, daytime phone number and how many persons you wish to create a stocking for to volunteer@susinc.org. Once we receive this confirmation, we will send you the name/s, sex and age/s of your person/s and the address to which you will send the stocking/s.

Stockings must be delivered by December 10, 2009 to our corporate offices.

Some suggestions for you to fill stockings with: toiletries, toys, accessories, stationery, art supplies, CD's, DVD's, small games, gift certificates, makeup, hats, scarves, books, etc.
