The mission of Elderberry Farms Native Plant Nursery is to promote awareness of the benefits of native plant habitat... We do most of our Propagation Work on WEDNESDAYS from 10:00 to 1:00 and have Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches for our volunteers - though you can bring your own lunch. Here are some of our jobs: Propagating plants, Landscape design & maintenance, Bird, native bee, butterfly habitat/biology, Native American Uses of native plants, Edible uses & Sustainability. And Maintaining nursery structures, Making Presentations about Native Plants, Communication - writing and Social Media. ALSO, we have projects that can be done from your home.

The mission of Elderberry Farms Native Plant Nursery is to promote awareness of the benefits of native plant habitat, encourage community involvement, and provide a source of local native plants for restoration projects as well as gardeners.

Description

It is a Nursery where only local native plants are grown. We work with community volunteers and groups to restore native plants to the American River Parkway, while raising awareness of the benefits native plants to birds, pollinators, and humans.
