7th Hawaii Conference - Preventing, Assessing & Treating Child, Adolescent and Adult Trauma

Description

This annual Conference presents the latest research, prevention, assessment and intervention techniques concerning various aspects of child, adolescent and adult trauma and maltreatment and the long-term effects if they go untreated. Nationally and internationally recognized presenters and local practioners come together to discuss the latest aspects relating in culturally sensitive ways to those who have been traumatized, abused, and/or victimized. CE's are offered to various professions.

The Ala Moana Hotel, Honolulu, near the world-famous Ala Moana Regional Mall - is the beautiful, convenient venue for this gathering of professionals and survivors. We need dedicated volunteers to make this event another successful IVAT Conference. If you have basic clerical, computer and/or customer service skills/experience, we need you! Flexibility is a must!!

There are several roles to choose from, including registration, CE desk, Bookstore, room monitoring, and "floating." You can go to our website, beginning November 1 -www.ivatcenters.org, to learn more about the Conference and the volunteer duties. You can exchange volunteer time for registration fees by completing the Volunteer Application within the Packet, using (min.) 5 hours per one day of session attendance. Be sure to indicate how many hours of work you wish to do. Registering for the Conference as a volunteer, with discount code, happens once your application has been accepted.
