Mission Statement

Our mission is to serve as the umbrella organization for providing, fostering and supporting comprehensive golf programs for youth in Arizona.

Description

UNIQUENESS OF SERVICE

The JGAA provides a necessary, valuable service to thousands of Junior Golfers in the State of Arizona. It differentiates itself by providing programs and tournaments specifically and solely for Junior Golfers. Establishing the JGAA as the premier organization supporting all aspects for the junior golfer has allowed the JGAA to become, among other things, a central location which acts as a clearing house for Junior Golf information. Currently no other organization in the State of Arizona offers such a comprehensive program specifically for Junior Golfers. Junior Golfers and those interested in Junior Golf throughout Arizona can receive timely information on the items and events which affect them most. They can receive information on programs and events which are particular to their area and their circumstances. The JGAA has never tried to be "all things to all people", but instead has focused on the important issues at hand, those which directly affect Junior Golfers. The JGAA's solid reputation is known throughout the United States. It is well respected not merely for its merits and past performances, but for its "can do" attitude and continued accomplishments. The JGAA feels that working with Junior Golf means working for and with young people. A very worth while endeavor. Working with young people gives one opportunities to not only shape the future of golf, but perhaps more importantly, its gives one an opportunity to shape tomorrow's citizens.
