Book Club

Clinton County MSU Extension is looking for people 18 and older to mentor a youth in Bath, MI through our literacy based Key Book Club.

The Key Book Club will help youth gain literacy and social skills which will prepare them to be academically successful and to become contributing members of their community. Participation with adult and teen mentors will offer them positive role models who support the young people in this journey. Mentors will help facilitate large group activities, small group discussions, and help the youths write letters to pen pals. This is a perfect oppertunity for college students pursuing elementary education and retired teachers who wish to work with students on a more temporary basis.
