Accounting Analyst or Assistant (Volunteer-No Salary)

As a member of the Finance and Budget Committee, the Accounting Analyst,or Accounting Assistant works under the leadership of the Finance and Budget Committee Chair with the Greater Washington Women's Network. This Committee is responsible for planning, monitoring and executing fund. Fund raising and sponsorship activities are included on this committee. The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to

• Creating and managing the overall budget
  • developing yearly and projective budgets
  • maintaining accurate and yearly records
  • preparing spending plans on a schedule
  • administering funds
  • creating and maintaining various databases
  • preparing final year-end financial reports and analyses
  • providing guidance for each program, project and activities
  • participating in the annual report
• Creating and managing the program budget
  • identifying funding requirements for various program, project and activities
  • assisting members with developing spending plans
  • maintaining accurate records and submitting reports
  • participating in the annual report
• Managing the corporate fund raising foundation
  • soliciting ideas for projects
  • designing a program
  • providing guidance
  • maintaining a database for fund raising projects
  • creating financial reports and matrix
  • participating in activities for fund raising projects
  • participating in the annual report

• Knowledge of accounting, math, and financial software applications. All volunteer work. Everyone pays to attend the events
