Coach for an After-School Athletic Program:
Our coaches are a vital part of providing our students with fitness and recreational activity after school and they coach in a variety of sports including soccer, lacross, baseketball, yoga and tennis. Coaches should be willing to commit to one day per week for a minimum of one quarter of the school year (approx. 12 weeks) and will be supported by OSS staff. There are three sessions per year that begin in the months of: September, November and February for the current school year.
This is a great opprotunity for older high school students, college students, retired individuals, and any sport enthusist. All volunteer coaches are supported by the staff.
Time:
3:30-5:00PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
We ask that volunteers commit to one day a week for twelve weeks

Location:

Mission Statement
Our Mission, as an independent, tuition-free, non-sectarian middle school, is to educate and inspire economically disadvantaged girls from the New Bedford area. Our Sisters' School empowers girls to step into the future with valuable life skills and a mindset of achievement and excellence by providing a safe, supportive, and academically challenging environment.
Description
Our Sisters' School seeks to foster the intellectual, moral, social and physical development of its students, and to nurture in a small-school setting the full potential of their characters. Since Opening Day in September 2008, the school's faculty and staff have worked closely with students' families and other volunteers, building ties between school and community, and developing the kinds of personal and institutional support that will ensure the continuing success of our students in high school, college, and in later life.
