A volunteer is able to make such an impact on a hospice patients life. Simple things we take for granted, talking about life with friends, reading a book, watching a movie or going for a walk all mean so much when you have a life limiting illness. These are things you can do for someone else that will impact their life in a positive way. We work around your schedule letting you make visits when you are available. Each volunteer must attend a mandatory volunteer training class, have TB and Drug Testing and a background check. We also offer the Hep B vaccination to you which is optional and all at no charge to the volunteer. Our next class is coming up soon. Contact us for more information on this volunteer opportunity.

Description
Hospice provides confort and care to people with a prognosis of 6 months or less to live. We help our patients to live out the remainder of their life with dignity and respect, receving the best care possible. Hospice provides support for physical, mental and spiritual needs.
