Are you interested in volunteering with children and adults with disabilities? Are you also interested in working with horses? Why not combine the two and volunteer with Friends for Therapeutic Equine Activities (FTEA)!
Volunteers have the opportunity to lead a horse during our mounted and unmounted horsemanship lessons and/or walk beside horse and rider as a sidewalker. Volunteers also perform a variety of tasks throughout the barn including grooming, tacking, and assisting with the care of our FTEA horses. All volunteers work under the supervision of PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors. Orientations are held frequently.
