Help distribute non-perishables and fresh produce to clients referred by local hospital pediatric programs. Greatest need for volunteers is at our Paterson site.
- Mondays from 10:30 a.m. - 3:00pm at Greater Abyssinian Baptist Church (through Beth Israel Hospital), Newark, NJ
- Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. - 4:00pm at Mount Teman Church (through Trinitas Hospital), Elizabeth, NJ
- Fridays from 10:30 a.m. - 3:00pm at Father English Center (through St Joseph's Hospital), Paterson, NJ
Please be aware that these distributions are outdoors, rain or shine, and bending and some light lifting is involved.

Description
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is the largest source of donated food in the state. As such, the FoodBank distributes 22 million pounds of food per year to over 1,500 agencies in 18 counties who in turn feed some of the neediest residents in NJ. By serving charities throughout New Jersey, we are able to reach over 500,000 people per month at food pantries, shelters for the homeless, soup kitchens, childcare centers, battered women's shelters and senior citizen programs. We a non-profit organization that cares deeply about people who are in need, and we try to do everything possible to assist people in need.
