Who we are:
We are an expanding interactive educational institution with a focus on Multimedia Games Learning for Children, and looking for experienced and innovative Game Developers with strong interactive scientific portfolios. We seek persons who can create "online games" that may include science, medical, foods, DNA, math, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, computers, physics, environmental, agriculture, human, animals, and others. Applicants should be very creative & conceptual.
The online multimedia science games for kids (pre-nursery thru high school) and beyond. The games will help kids to develop an appreciation for science (math, biology, chemistry, bioscience, agriculture, environment, space, security, etc). Wonderful animation and voice should be added to such multimedia to make the games more interested and friendlier.
You may create storyboards for each game. Also, the characters and pops for the games, along with the animations, interactions and voices. The platform maybe flash, 3D, C4, torque, unity, and others.
In addition, there should be assessment tools such as SCORM tracking or others to use in Learning Management System
Responsibilities:
As a Game Designer, your responsibilities will include overarching visual design and consistency of graphical assets, graphical asset development, and general game art design. You should be able to work quickly to bring assets from a conceptual state to a finished product with minimal direction.
What you should have for this position:
- 1 year web / interactive development experience.
- Knowledge of Flash, ActionScript, etc., skills.
- Knowledge of understanding and implementation of OOP methods.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, xHTML, CSS, XML.
- Knowledge integrating backend intensive structures into a Flash environment.
- Knowledge of foundation in visual/interface design, motion graphics and UI design.
- Knowledge of with clients and development team to execute creative solutions.
- Game development experience and/or strong sense of motion is a plus.
- Experience creating programmatic animations.
· User interface design;
· Actionscript experience;
· Adode Illustrator and Photoshop knowledge;
· Web design experience;
· Creative projects in your spare time (especially games) are a plus;
