- Don't have much time but want to make a difference? We have a couple of choices:
- Go to your local discount store and pick up an assortment of ten small toys (crayons, book, puzzle, yo-yo, stickers -- you get the idea) along with a birthday gift bag for kids ages 3-12.
- Put the items in the bag and on your way home, drop the bag off at your local shelter or food shelf and ask them to give it to a parent who can't afford to give their child a gift on their birthday.
- Then drop a quick email to karen@cheerfulgivers.org to say where you dropped off the bag.
- That makes you a Cheerful Giver (see www.cheerfulgivers.org)
- Think about doing this once/month.
- Or, in less than one minute you can make an online donation at www.cheerfulgivers.org and for every $10, we will see that a less-fortunate child receives a toy-filled birthday gift bag on their birthday.

Mission Statement
To provide toy-filled birthday gift bags to shelters and food shelves so that parents living in poverty can give their child a birthday gift. This results in greater self-esteem and self-worth as well as strengthens bonds in less fortunate families.
Description
We are a unique charitable organization that addresses an unmet need by providing bithday gift bags for children who are homeless or living in poverty so that their parents can reocognize their one special day - their birthday!
