We are in desperate need of fundraising assistance (GRANT WRITERS and EVENT COORDINATORS) by trained and committed fundraisers. THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY THAT COULD TURN INTO A PAID POSITION. All of our services have been volunteer for 28 years. We need someone with a proven track record. Our services are unduplicated in all of North American. Thursday's Child has the ONLY live-answered hotline for endangered children in all of North America. We have the only 24-hour hotline listed for anorexia or bulimia or eating disorders or for teen suicide anywhere. No other helpline exists for bullying, and in that we are proactive, dealing not only with the victims but their schools. We are the only hotline given out for missing or exploited or runaway children, for child abuse, teen pregnancy, teen prostitution, teen substance abuse, cutting, date rape and STDs. And there have been no salaries since we began in 1982. Please be serious.
