It seems obvious...kids need books to learn to read. Yet, 80% of programs serving kids in need have no age-appropriate books.

First Book Wants You!
We are looking for passionate, entrepreneurial people to help us get books to the kids who need them most. A First Book Advisory Board is now forming in the Washington, DC area with leadership and member positions available.

First Book Advisory Boards are a network of dedicated volunteer leaders in hundreds of communities across the country. They raise funds for local literacy programs to give new, age appropriate books away to the children within their program.
