Being a tutor for Youth Bridge will not only make a person feel very good about themselves, but it will also be very fulfilling knowing that you are helping someone achieve something that they might not have achieved other wise. This experience will also look amazing on a resume.
Volunteers will be tutoring clients in various basic subjects, such as math, science, English, and history for their high school diploma or their GED. Because the volunteers will be working directly with the clients, the volunteers must be 21 years old or older and go through a back ground check. There is a huge sense of accomplishment with this position because the volunteers will be working directly with the clients to help make their lives better. The time commitment with this position will depend on the volunteer and the client or clients that they tutor.
Youth Bridge has year-round school, so we are in need of volunteers all the time.

Description
Youth Bridge is northern Arkansas' leading provider of comprehensive care to troubled teens and their families. We offer outpatient therapy and counseling, residential substance abuse treatment, emergency shelters, academic and social support, a therapeutic group home for teens involved in the juvenile justice system, and school-based services in collaboration with area school districts.
Each year, Youth Bridge serves mere than 4,000 teens and their families from a nine-county area. We encourage volunteers from clerical work to assistance with fundraising and event planning.
