Coaches and Buddies Needed for six week spring and/or fall clinics.
Adapted Basketball Skill Cliniic for boys and girls who are physically, intellectually or developmentally disabled.
Tuesdays Afterschool, 3:45 - 5 pm; Six Sessions
Spring at the Page Youth Center Gymnasium in Santa Barbara.
Fall Session begins September - October.

Mission Statement
Provide adaptive baseball team sports experience for boys and girls with special needs. Community Volunteers and "typical developing" little league "buddies" assist players to experience the joy and fun of baseball- building self esteem, compassion, confidence, sportsmanship, friendships, improved motor skills and getting great exercise.
Description
Adaptive t-ball and baseball teams for girls and boys, ages 5 and up with physical, developmental and intellectual disabilities that reside in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Our players are assisted by community volunteers and Little League typical-developing players serving as buddies to learn fundatmental of baseball, confidence, self-esteem, taking turns, fine and gross motor development, friendships and more.
T-ball, Coach and Player pitch teams for a vareity of skill levels available.
Skill teams for those children with severe disabilities - adaptive equipment includes ; throwing/catching with a 10"rubber ball, bean bags, squishy balls and/or whiffle balls depending on a players physical need. Our players include those in wheelchairs, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down's synddrome, Aspbergers, and a wide variety of other challenges. Wheelchair accessible restrooms available at each location.
Baseball games are adapted to the skill ability of each player .We have players of a wide variety of skill level - even home run hitters.
Challengers meet one hour and 15 minutes weekly on Saturday mornings (TBA) from March thru May on ball fields in Goleta, Carpinteria and, Ventura.
Special events include popular MONSTER Ball in October and SB Forester Skills Camp in June.
