Please support the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of South Florida by collecting items from our Wish List. The Wish List is a list of items we need on an everyday basis to help maintain our "Home away from home". It includes items like toilet paper, paper towels, plastic utensils, shower curtains, detergent, and so much more. The RMHC of South Florida provides temporary housing for over 500 families a year with a child receiving medical treatment in any South Florida pediatric medical facility. Hosting a Wish List Drive is a great project for friends, family, co-workers, and classmates to get involved in!

P.S. Volunteer hours can be provided for school hours. For every $30 value of collected items RMHC will provide 10 service hours, and for $20 value items RMHC will provide 5 service hours. Maximum of 50 hours per year.

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is to support the health and well being of children by providing lodging, meals, activities and a community of care to critically ill children and their families who need to be near a pediatric hospital for treatment.
Description
Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida, is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, that makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives by providing a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. The Ronald McDonald House in South Florida its located on the grounds of Jackson Memorial Hospital. The 31 bedroom facility assists around 300 families a year.
Even through the Coronavirus pandemic, we continue to assist families with seriously ill children. Our doors never closed and step by step will continue our mission of keeping families together. Volunteers are the heart of the house and we have some virtual opportunities available.
