Are you interested in donating blood to Children's Hospital Colorado?
On our mobile coach, we are equipped to draw 2 donors every 15 minutes, for a maximum of 32 donors. We also have the ability to bring our equipment inside your location for a blood drive. Our goal is to get at least 26 donations per blood drive. Generally filling a 32 appointment schedule will yield 26 donation after no shows and deferrals.
Since only about 1 in 10 people are willing and able to donate, you may want to do an interest poll before setting a date. All blood is collected in a safe and sterile manner to protect the donor and the patient. Visit www.childrenscolorado.org/giveblood for more information.

Description
Every year at The Children's Hospital, 8,000 units of blood products are transfused into sick and injured infants, children and teens. Without this blood, many of the lifesaving procedures performed at The Children's Hospital would not be possible. The blood you donate gives these children a better chance for a healthy life.
Blood donation does not cost money and requires little time. It does, however, make a big difference. The Children's Hospital has devoted volunteers who donate blood on a regular basis. Unfortunately, we can still run short during times of crisis or with children that have a very specific need. Help us maintain a steady supply of the wide range of blood products that kids need!
