Dedicated American Cancer Society Volunteers are the driving force behind the significant progress that has been made against cancer. More than 10 million people nationwide turned to the American Cancer Society last year for information about cancer treatment, prevention, and early detection. More local volunteers are needed to hlep us fulfill our mission of research, education, advocacy, and service for cancer patients and their families.
Volunteers are needed to assist with mailings, data entry, answering phones, and various other administrative tasks. These tasks would be performed at our office Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 5:00.
Right now, I'm currently only looking for volunteers to help with our front desk mainly over the lunch hour. It would be on an as needed bases and you would be given plenty of notice ahead of time. If you prefer a set schedule we can discuss that also. I'm very flexible and understand that at times you may need to change a date.
