Join our Peer Education Program to help promote positive body image and to prevent eating disorders!
We are currently recruiting 15-22 year olds (male and female) to join our Peer Education Program. We train you in our philosophy, then co-present with you in schools and community organizations throughout the school year.
Beyond Hunger is a small grassroots organization dedicated to healing body hatred and disordered eating by providing prevention, education, and support groups for individuals with eating disorders. Beyond Hunger's philosophy integrates intuitive eating, body acceptance, and emotional intelligence.
Skills
- It helps to have great communication skills and either public speaking skills or a willingness to learn public speaking skills. We also need people who are committed and reliable!
