Project: Employees, corporate & groups collect new items and assemble baby bath kits.
Overview: As part of the home visits to our young families, Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency Public Health Nurses give bath kits to their clients. The bath kits are used by the nurse to educate and demonstrate proper infant bathing. Items in the kits support a safe and clean bathing experience for infants and parents.
Kit essentials include:
- New baby bath towel
- Wash cloth
- Baby wash and shampoo (no baby powder)
- Wipes,
- 2 diapers (size 1),
- Desiten Ointment (or similar),
- Onesie or sleeper (3-6 months)
Package items in a clear, one-gallon "zip" bag. Colors of items in the kit should be gender neutral or 'boy' or 'girl' colors. Please contact MVNA for more information.
