We are forming a nonprofit, all volunteer community theatre organization to produce youth shows, Broadway musicals, comedies, dramas and musical acts in a 363 seat beautiful performance venue in Whittier, CA. The venue is owned by Southern California University of the Health Sciences who has awarded us a theatre residency in their facility.

We will be one of the very few low cost community theatres in Southern California that does not charge children to participate in our youth productions. Area children's theatres charge kids up to $850 per child to join shows. Accordingly, our organization will provide children of economically disadvantaged families access to theatre.

Responsibilities: We are in the process of incorporating the 501(c)3 organization. I am a retired litigation lawyer and am preparing the incorporation documents. We'd love to have a transactional lawyer to consult with and oversee our documents before we file them. We will do the great majority of the work - we need some transactional expertise.
