Heartland Hospice has two volunteer position openings for the title of office support volunteer. Heartland Hospice office support volunteers play a vital role and work side by side our other hospice medical professionals in an effort of ensuring that the patients and families we serve receive the best care possible. Some of the initial/basic roles of a Heartland Hospice office support volunteer may include, but are not limited to:

1. Working with and handling patient charts
2. Faxing important documents to physicians & other members of the community
3. Providing data entry in our computer programs
4. Providing additional support to office manager, team leaders & bereavement coordinator
5. Answering telephones
6. Other day to day administrative needs of the Heartland Hospice program

The Heartland Hospice Indianapolis office headquarters provides a fun and laid-back atmosphere in which to serve. Our staff recognizes the value & importance of our office volunteers and shows that appreciation on a daily basis.
