Liberation Through Education is seeking people to facilitate its A-Z Programs and develop new programs that teach social skills, create social awareness and promote a positive outlook on education. We need people who are qualified to teach etiquette, nutrition, personal & dental hygiene, basic financial management, going "Green", art, music, dance, rapping, sports, cooking, gardening, internet safety, and creative writing. We need guest readers and public service providers. We also need motivational speakers and mentors who can give 15-20 minute lectures on topics such as goal-setting, overcoming obstacles, bullying, anger management, violence alternatives, local reporters, authors, politicians, engineers, attorneys, business professionals and professional athletes willing to inspire children. *All volunteers are required to sign a release form for criminal background check.

• Volunteers should be qualified and/or experienced in the field in which they teach and be credible and knowledgeable on the content they present. All volunteers should have a passion for working with children. Bio and resume should be provided.Volunteers must be able to get to and from the various schools in which they teach. Currently, Liberation Through Education's programs are in 14 schools in New Orleans.
