Occurrence/Commitment: 6 or 7 times a year; set dates, scheduled ahead of time.
Time Frame: Evenings/Weekends; occasional workday matinees
Description: Ushers for our Mainstage productions assist the House Manager by taking tickets, handing out programs, showing patrons to their seats and operating our historic elevator. In exchange for your Volunteer Hours, you are entitled to attend that performance (or a later date in the event of a sell out) for free. Individual Ushers are used on an As-Needed Basis. Generally, there are at least two performances of every show that we will keep open for individual ushers. Volunteers who would like to be individual ushers will be notified of the open dates for ushering about a week before the run of each show starts. Volunteers interested in Ushering will be required to have attended an Usher Orientation before they will be permitted to perform all ushering duties. FALL - Friday, August 28th or Saturday, August 29th
WINTER - TBA Early November
SPRING - TBA Mid May
