We need skilled volunteers to help us repair various things at our teen homes!

The environment in which our residential treatment is provided is key to whether or not it succeeds. Individuals and groups who volunteer their time to make our homes functional and pleasant environments increase the quality of care provided in our residential facilities by:

**Helping recruit and retain talented staff who dedicate their lives to the kids

**Showing the kids people do care about them and their recovery

**Giving the kids an environment where they truly feel safe; and where they can open up and begin to take an active role in their recovery

All of our residences are in constant need of repair. Typical projects performed by work parties include:

Painting indoors and/or outdoors

Landscaping projects

Building projects (basketball courts, volleyball courts, sheds, etc.)

Renovation projects (Kitchen counters and cupboards, bathroom remodels)

Though Advent pays for all the supplies, it is the human element that is needed and constitutes the heart of this ministry. It is amazing what can be accomplished in a Saturday afternoon.

The impact that our volunteers have on our ministry is immeasurable.
