Host an event - Invite your friends - Help end global poverty
Eat So They Can is seeking volunteers to host food events. The event can be breakfast, lunch, or dinner; it can be a small gathering, an elaborate dinner, a party, a cocktail hour... whatever you choose!
All you need to do is:
1. Sign up as a host at www.eatsotheycan.org
2. Host your event anytime from now-December 31, 2012.
3. Submit all donations raised at your event to GVN Foundation to help us bring an end to global poverty and hunger.
All our ESTC hosts are provided with a great kit of resources to ensure their event is a success - including a DVD to show at your event!

Eat So They Can is an initiative of Global Volunteer Network and GVN Foundation. The concept is simple - by hosting a dinner party, you can help bring an end to global poverty and end.
Description
Eat So They Can is an international fundraiser that invites citizens of the world to participate in what is collectively one huge dinner party; where something as simple as sharing a meal with friends can help stop global poverty and hunger.
This year's events will be held on 20-21 October 2012 following World Food Day. We are seeking volunteers to host events that will raise funds and awareness for GVN Foundation's projects around the world. All volunteers will be provided with a mentor as well as a variety of resources to ensure their event is a success. Our resources include a personalized webpage, our 2012 DVD to show at your event, a recipe guide, posters, fact sheets and much more!
