We are looking for volunteers who are interested in tutoring teens and adults in reading, writing, and conversational English (as well as basic computer skills, math literacy, United States citizenship and more). Tutoring can be one-to-one or in a group/class setting. We provide tutor-training once per quarter. Trainings are happening soon! Visit our website or contact our office to sign up or learn more!

Mission Statement
The mission of Literacy Volunteers of Coconino County is to increase the basic English language and literacy skills of teens and adults in order to improve the quality of personal, economic and community life for all. Our services are delivered by professionally trained volunteers in the community and at our facility, The Literacy Center. We strive to be a resource for the study of adolescent and adult literacy learning.
Description
We are an accredited affiliate of ProLiteracy America. We train volunteers to work with teens and adults (at least 13 years of age) in class settings, our drop-in center and also through one-to-one tutoring matches.
