Description
River and Estuary Cleanup Event July 11th 9am-Noon
As part of the San Diego River Park Foundation's ongoing efforts to clean and restore the San Diego River, volunteers are needed to help us remove trash and debris from the river and river estuary. This is an important and meaningful activity to help our river and environment. If you believe in clean water and a clean habitat for people and wildlife we would love to have your help. No experience necessary, all tools and supplies provided. Community service hours can be verified for those that need them. Participants are asked to wear sturdy clothing that can get a little dirty and also wear closed shoes. Hat and sunscreen are recommended. Groups and people of all ages are welcomed to help. Volunteers will meet across the street from Secure Self Storage at 4835 Pacific Hwy. 92110
