Grant Writer Intern

Description

The Grant Writer Intern will work closely with the Development Officer for Institutional Giving to learn how to research prospective corporate and foundation funders and develop grant proposals. Intern will work to maintain and strengthen CHSFS's financial viability. Intern may occasionally be asked to assist development staff with various projects relating to other areas of fundraising. The Intern will get hands-on experience with grant writing and research and will gain an entry-level knowledge of Raiser's Edge software (the most popular fundraising database used by nonprofits).

Time Commitment: 8-20 hours per week. Flexible schedule wtihin business hours. Minimum 6 month commitment.
