Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley is seeking volunteers who can help Fox Valley residents learn English. A tutor training workshop will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, October 16, 18, 23, and 25 at the St. Charles Public Library.
Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley helps adults communicate in English by matching them with trained volunteer tutors who provide in-person or virtual lessons once each week.
If you know English, you can teach English to a Fox Valley resident who needs to learn. Volunteers do not need teaching experience or a second language to be successful. The program provides material and instruction so anyone can help.
