Hershey Partnership Headquarters Representatives Needed!!

Now Open! The new Hershey Partnership Headquarters opened its doors at the end of June 2009 and is in need of volunteers to welcome visitors to the Hershey area and provide information to tourists and new residents moving to the Hershey area.

Volunteers will provide visitors with information and directions to local businesses and attractions at the headquarters information desk and over the phone, stock local information brochures and keep track of the number of visitors coming to the headquarters.

The center will be open: M-F 9-5, Sa 9-1, Su 10-1 during the summer seaons (M-F hours adjust to 10-3 during the fall/winter)

Why should you volunteer with the Hershey Partnership?

**All volunteers will be enrolled with RSVP of the Capital Region so they receive accident and liability insurance coverage for while they are volunteering.

**Volunteers will be invited to the annual RSVP volunteer recognition luncheon and be eligible to receive awards.

**Volunteers will be periodically recognized for their service hours with donated items or tickets provided by Hershey Partnership members!!!

The Hershey Partnership is an independent, non-profit, year-round organization whose mission is to create an environment of business and community which promotes the Hershey PA area as a year round destination, much like a Chamber of Commerce. Hershey is a unique town - it has a small town atmosphere, but it is located nearby to many larger metropolitan areas. Hershey PA has many attractions - cultural, historical, chocolate-themed and entertaining - which invite millions of visitors each year, but it is also a great place to live.

Volunteers are being recruited by RSVP of the Capital Region, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting volunteeism and service in our local communities.
