Planting Peace is looking for a long term volunteer or an intern to help protecting turtles in Nicaragua. (no less than 6 months) This project is located in la flor about about 30 mins south of San Juan del sur. Job duties will include but not limited to.... Heading volunteers that come to Nicaragua Organizing nightly beach walks looking for turtles that are laying eggs so we can protect them Organizing beach clean ups. Outreach into local communities letting them know the importance of protecting eggs. housing and a small stipend will be provided

• This person must be fluent in Spanish, and should also have some background in biology. Our ideal candidate will be able to assume this position for 3 to 6 months, beginning in October or November.
