The Telephone Reassurance Program for older adults and adults with disabilities who live alone. It is a safety check and also serves as a catalyst for home-bound citizens to socialize daily. Volunteers offer reassurance to the participants, their family and their friends that someone will be calling them. As a volunteer we will match you with a participant who is looking forward to your call. This is a great program for individuals with limited mobility or those that prefer volunteering from the comfort of their own home. By providing diverse, intergenerational volunteer opportunities, RSVP makes a positive impact and enhances the quality of life of the individuals and agencies we serve.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY!
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides opportunities for individuals age 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, day care centers, police departments, hospitals and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, pre-service orientation, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
