Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering your time and talent with the American Red Cross Blood Services. Every day, the Red Cross must collect 1000 units of blood to save the lives of cancer, accident and surgery patients. We are able to accomplish this because of the commitment of our volunteer staff.

At this moment we are in need of Donor Ambassadors (Blood Drive Volunteers) to help on our blood drives in our area. We ask that all interested volunteers are able to make a promise of attempting to volunteer at least once per month. All volunteers must be able to attend a volunteer orientation and complete the mandatory background check that we require with all of our volunteers prior to volunteering at a blood drive. All volunteers will be working with the public and must possess an outgoing and friendly personality.

The blood drives are typically held during the day, and the occasional early evening, Monday through Friday in our local community and our volunteers select which blood drives they wish to volunteer at. Volunteers act as ambassadors for the Red Cross by greeting, registering, and serving light refreshments to blood donors. People find this a fun and rewarding way to help!
