I am looking for friendly volunteers to visit with our hospice patients. A background check and TB test are required and provided. No experience is needed, but training is provided. This opportunity only requires companionship, reading to the patient, light housekeeping, running errands, caregiver relief, etc. Volunteers are not permitted to administer medications, provide medical or personal hygiene care, or sign legal documents. If you live in western Pennsylvania, we probably have an area for you.
