Work at beautiful Walker Ranch and help to restore unhealthy forests and meadow ecosystems. Using hand tools, you will thin unnaturally dense stands of small ponderosa pine trees. The work is part of a larger restoration plan that will re-establish natural forest systems and improve wildlife habitat. This project runs from 3pm-7pm. Minimum age is 12 with adult supervision. To register, please email WildWorkVolunteers@BoulderCounty.org or call 303-678-6216 by July 16.
