Neighbors Helping Neighbors. When you help a neighbor with a ride to the doctor or to church, when you vacuum their home for them, or when you give their primary caregiver respite for a few hours, you help them to remain living independently in their home in the community longer. . .and that's a good thing! Rural Stearns Faith in Action (RSFIA) exists to help meet some of the practical needs of senior citizens and others in your community. This volunteer opportunity can be FLEXIBLE, whether you have 1 hour a month, or several hours a week to contribute, we welcome you!

Description
Our program volunteers serve seniors and people with difficult life situations living in the rural communities of Stearns County with the ultimate goal of keeping people in their homes as long as possible. We do this through offering transportation, homemaking, chore services, home modification/repair, friendly visiting, respite care, and the list goes on.
