Throughout the month of September, we’re challenging our community to take Hunger Action by volunteering their time in our warehouse. We’ve set a BIG goal of filling every volunteer spot we have open for the month of September - that’s an astounding 1,500 total spots throughout the month.
With 10 sessions each week, there’s plenty of opportunity to find something that will work with your schedule, and to say "Thanks" for helping us reach our goal, we’ve got some fun raffle prizes to give away, too. Receive an additional entry into the drawing for each shift!

Warehouse shifts;
Tuesday-Thursday 1:30-4:00 or 5:30-8:00
Friday's 12:00-2:30 or 1:30-4:00
Saturday's 9:00-11:00 or 12: 00-2:00

Description
The Food Bank of Northern Nevada is a food distribution and support system for more than 85 different direct-service, non-profit agencies serving the needy, the ill, the elderly and children. Our member agencies include emergency food pantries and senior meal programs, sliding scale day care centers, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, family and domestic violence shelters and various youth programs--all of which include meals or snacks in their program or service.
