AMP, the Artists' Meeting Place & Resource Collective, connects artists and behind-the-scenes collaborators of all genres, including musicians, painters, performance artists, writers, dancers, and many more, with resources, opportunities, and personal connections. Many AMPers also provide free temporary lodging for other members. With thousands of members in 85 countries, AMP enthusiastically and energetically builds bridges between artists, audiences, and producers through our website, as well as at AMP-hosted parties and multimedia events worldwide.
Volunteers are needed in the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas to help with AMP's events. Volunteers should have organizational skills and enjoy working with people. There are only two events (one in each city) being planned for this summer, one night each (probably Saturday). Volunteers will be needed the day before and the day and night of the event. Minimum time requirement is 10 hours total. Adults only may perform the work.

Artists receive help with fundraising, affordable insurance, software to sell tickets and manage relationships, and an online marketplace for rehearsal and performance space.
