Description
Do you know what you would do if you couldn't get to the library? The love of reading does not diminish with age. The volunteers to the library's Home Delivery Service take library materials to people in Stanislaus County who are no longer able to get to the library because of advanced age, disability or illness.
Materials are delivered once a month.
Volunteers will use their personal vehicle to make deliveries. Must be organized and self sufficient.
*Time spent volunteering is about 4 hours a month for at least 9 months.
*Volunteers will be fingerprinted.
