A Visitor Liaison at Enloe is a welcome sight to those who are in the hospital waiting rooms of Emergency and Trauma. Like watchful guardians, these compassionate volunteers seek to make hospital visitors more comfortable in their wait. A warm blanket, an ice bag, a neck pillow for comfort, or maybe just a fresh magazine choice to keep a waiting family member cared for and comforted. Being a Visitor Liaison at Enloe, you have the opportunity to make someone's difficult time a little less anxious.

• Skills needed to do this job include: * A mature attitude * Excellent communication skills * Being responsive to the needs of others * Comfortable talking to people * Ability to follow direction A training will be provided in Compassionate Communication to prepare volunteers for potentially difficult conversations.
