Working toward success!

Lake Washington School District LINKS Program offers mentoring opportunities

Lunch Buddy Mentor Program

Students are matched with an adult Lunch Buddy. The age of the student varies kindergarten-fifth grade. As a lunch buddy you meet with the same student throughout the school year. Buddies meet once a week during his or her lunch period. The Lunch Buddy program is a way for adults to help a student feel good about themselves and be more successful in school.

Academic Mentors
are needed to meet with a student needing added support through an academic mentor match. As an academic mentor, we ask that you commit to the match for as long as the student needs the added support. The meeting day is mutually decided on with the staff and volunteer.
