Opportunities are available, for people who live in the Sacramento CA and surrounding areas, for kind and compassionate individuals to provide social telephone calls to older adults who are homebound. Phone calls provide social interaction, easing lonliness, helping to keep the older adult linked to the community. Volunteers can make calls from the Telephone Reassurance office located at Kenneth and Madison in Fair Oaks, or call from their own home.
