Development Associate

Description

Taking a cue from sister organizations, ICAN is experimenting with commission-based fundraising in order to supplement our traditional fundraising projects and processes so that we will be able to expand our reach and accommodate an unrelenting demand for our Patient Services.

This is a perfect position for a Development Director who is between jobs or is retired or for a former board member of any nonprofit or for profit who is willing to raise funds for a cancer nonprofit such as ICAN.

  • Microsoft Word proficient. Can download a pdf. Personable, quick study. Experienced in the fundraising or public affairs world. Good on the phone. Can network easily. A self-starter. This is a position for a creative, charming, and tenacious personality. ICAN does not fund travel or meals or reimburse mileage.
