Family Service Rochester is seeking volunteers to provide lawn mowing for seniors and disabled individuals during this mowing season. Volunteers would be asked to commit for the season, which averages 14 mow times, and Family Service Rochester would pay for the fuel for the mowers. You would need to bring your own mower to the matched home. There may be opportunities where the recipients mower is available.
This is a great opportunity for families and small groups. The age limit is 14 yrs. with adult supervision.

Family Service Rochester (FSR) is a community-based, nonprofit organization that provides a wide range of services addressing mental health, child wellbeing, family stability, and senior independence.
FSR was founded in 1965 with a staff of three and the mission to support and enhance the dignity and quality of life for individuals and families in the community. From that small start-up offering counseling and homemaker services, the agency has grown to provide more than 30 programs to meet ever-changing community needs. Volunteers are vital to excellent service delivery to those individuals and families we work with.
