Needed - Compassionate individuals looking for an opportunity to share their time, heart, and talents to aide in the comfort of persons facing the end of life. We are looking for volunteers to offer companionship for our patients and/or respite for their families. Additionally, we have volunteer positions available for courtesy callers, support volunteers, activity assistants, and special project volunteers. Please consider being a part of making someones last days brighter.

Description

Anova is a provider of Home Health and Hospice Services

The Hospice program is reflective of a spirit and idea of caring that emphasizes comfort and dignity for the dying, making it possible for them to remain independent for as long as possible, and in familiar surroundings. Hospice care is centered on the lifestyle, values, and wishes of both the patient and family/caregiver. Utilizing a team approach of physicians, nurses, social workers, hospice aides, volunteers, spiritual counselors, bereavement counselors, and others we provide in-home care, short-term inpatient services, mobilization and coordination of ancillary services and bereavement support.
